| Long Eaton Walking FC is a semi-competitive club and is the Walking Football arm of Long Eaton United FC with separate sections & sessions held for both men and women(only). The club run two sessions for men and one for women all at Long Eaton United's Community Soccer Arena at the side of their home stadium at Grange Park, Long Eaton. The men's section run a 1 hour session from 10:30am on Tuesday morning aimed at retirees and flexible workers as well as a Thursday Evening session from 7:30-9:00pm, whilst the Women's sessions are held on Monday Evenings from 7:00 - 8:30pm. The age groups range currently from mid 40's to late-seventies for men and 35-65 for women although the upper age range is not fixed. As well as train, we like to play friendly matches, tournaments as well as league games for the more enthusiastic members! - however, whilst we like to win, we don't consider this the be all and end all as enjoyment and friendship are considered the most important factors. In addition to the playing side, we also like to hold social events that all are invited to. The club is always on the lookout for new members, whether you plan to play recreationally or more competitively, so if you would like to join us, please feel free to contact us and give us a try, you'll be given the warmest of welcomes.
