Details about the club and the sessions you run

We are a well established club for the over 45s playing at The Alan Higgs Centre, Allard Way, Coventry. We run 3 social mixed ability sessions per week on Monday and Thursday 11am - 12 midday and for those who work, we have a Friday session 7pm - 8pm. The Friday evening sessions attracts those in their 50s. We play on a 3G surface outdoors in the summer and autumn and indoor on a 3G pitch in the winter. Our facilities are excellent and there is an on-site cafe where we meet for after session refreshments and chat. For those who are more competitive, we have teams in age groups 60s, 63, 67s entered into the Birmingham WF League. We also enter cup competitions and play friendlies for league and non-league players. Our friendly sessions are very well attended and we usually select mixed ability teams to play 6,7 or 8 a-side 20 min games depending on numbers. We have an active social side to the club. For new members, the first 2 sessions are free of charge and £3 per session thereafter. Currently there are no women players, however, we are keen to attract women to create a women's section.
