Part of Bournemouth Walking Football Club, our Women’s section have our own women-only sessions on Friday evenings, from 7.30-9.00pm on the 3G pitches at Littledown BH7 7DX.

Beginners, past or current players are all welcome. Although aimed at women 40+, those under 40 who for any reason feel that the usual running game is not for them are also most welcome. Email Heather, or just turn up. Meet from 7.15pm for a warm welcome, lots of fun and a friendly, gentler version of football! We are a diverse, very friendly bunch, from new mums to grandmas, 20s to 70s. Sessions are aimed at all abilities and consist of a welcome/get-together/chat, warm up, some coaching and a friendly game. You are welcome to join in with the entire session, or sit out parts if you prefer.

There are also opportunities to play in friendly matches and tournaments against other women’s Walking Football teams, or with our BWFC men/mixed sessions. We have teams competing in both the Dorset and Hampshire women’s Walking Football leagues and we enter National Cup competitions.
