| Part of Bournemouth Walking Football Club, from May 2023 our Women's section have our own women-only sessions on Friday evenings, from 7.30-8.30pm on the astro pitches at Littledown BH7 7DX.
Beginners, past or current players are all welcome. Although aimed at women 40+, those under 40 who for any reason feel that the usual running game is not for them, are also very welcome. We currently have players of very mixed abilities, coming from across BCP and beyond to enjoy a session of coaching and a friendly game. Email Heather, or just turn up. Meet from 7.15 for a warm welcome, lots of fun and a friendly, gentler version of football! The cost is £3.50 per session. There are also opportunities to play in friendly matches against other women's Walking Football teams, or against our BWFC development level men, usually held on Sunday afternoons every few weeks. We are also looking forward to joining the Hampshire women's Walking Football league in autumn 2023. |
