It has been confirmed that Steve Rich has resigned as a director of the WFA.
WFA chief executive Paul Carr said: “Steve has found it increasingly difficult to fulfil his WFA responsibilities owing to his continuing commitment to the WFU website. We thank him for his assistance in establishing the WFA and wish him well in the future.
“The WFA is established as the national governing body for Walking Football for the UK since it was set up in November 2016. The organisation now has an excellent team of more than 20 executives and volunteers.”
A new national development director will be appointed soon.
