Clevedon were victorious in the first ever WFA Over 65 Cup beating Manchester Corinthians 1-0 in the final.
Worthing came 3rd, Newcastle Blue Flames, 4th Hartshill 5th and Norwich finished 6th.
A successful tournament with good quality Walking Football played in a fantastic spirit, brilliantly refereed by the team of five WFA referees. A very tight tournament with few goals being scored. Clevedon made it through to the final with for 0-0 draws and a 1-0. Their tight defence clearly being the key. Manchester Corinthians won more games and scored more goals than any other team, but could not break down the mean Clevedon defence.
Trophy and medals were presented by the England over 60’s manager Stuart Langworthy.
Player of the tournament was Norwich Goal Keeper, Dave Florida
