Over 70s

The 70s Super League has had mixed fortunes this year, with one event being cancelled and SE unable to raise a team for the final round at Evesham in November. However, this gave the opportunity for SWN to put their stamp on the competition and deservedly claim the cup, which was closely fought by the other three regions. Congratulations to them on taking the main prize away from SE for the first time.

Next year’s competition is looking much more positive, with the dates already in the diary. In addition, we look likely to have increased participation, with two teams from Central, and the possibility of NE re-entering the fray. Many thanks should go to Geoff Harman for all of his work in organising and keeping the show on the road this year.

Over 65s

Congratulations to the South East Regional Teams at Over 65 on finishing 1st (Blacks) and 2nd (Orange) in the Over 65 Regional Super League.  The final session was played in very wet and windy conditions at Derby and congratulations go to all teams/players/managers and the referees for completing a competitive League but one played in the right spirit. Well done all

Over 60s

The 60s Super League was very competitive and the result went down to the final 2 games – South East Orange and the newly formed Central East pushed hard, but congratulations to North East Blues who won for the second year in a row
