An amazing tournament full of great play and great friendship

Teams from 19 nations came to England for the first ever World Nations Cup of Walking Football. Teams played with passion and pride in three days of high quality, competitive Walking Football.

Although this was about the games, it was the spirit and friendship that the tournament should be remembered. Old friendships renewed and new ones made.

The hosts, England were ultimately victorious in both the over 50’s and over 60’s age groups. But during the matches we saw fantastically tight games and some superb Walking Football from all the teams.

We of course want to congratulate all the teams but especially the two England squads. Well done guys!
