Walking Football is a popular indoor activity that is run at Ferndown Leisure Centre in the sports hall on a Thursday evening between 7 and 8pm. This session is aimed at both males and females who are 50 years old or over. If you have played football at a younger age and want to get back into the sport at a slower pace, then this is the ideal session for you. Walking Football is designed for anyone over 50 that wants to get involved in the beautiful game with all abilities welcome. The weekly session is 6 a side with 2 substitutes per team to facilitate rolling substitutions every 10 minutes. The sessions cost £3.90 which is paid at reception before the start of each session. There are no joining fees as the Walking Football sessions work on a turn up and play basis.
